Hi, I’m Gergely — a photographer drawn to the places where the world feels most alive and most fragile.

I’ve spent years travelling to the edges of the map: the glaciers of Iceland, the red dunes of Namibia, the fjords above Tromsø, the wild coasts of Patagonia. What I’m always looking for is the same thing — a scene that makes you feel small and grateful at the same time.

In the last few years, astrophotography has pulled me in a different direction: straight up. There’s something humbling about spending a night under a dark sky, tracking a nebula thousands of light-years away, watching it emerge frame by frame from the noise. Most of the images on the Astrophotography page were captured with a Nikon DSLR or more recently with a  smart telescope — sometimes far from home, sometimes from the backyard.
